David power the musical force behind the Far & Near project visited the NCEM yesterday to record the compositions that will accompany the visual elements of the project. The music forms an integral part of the project and will accompany performances and installations as well as a soundtrack to the film of the project. The Far & Near project is a collaboration between artists, galleries and the public. Without the public, this project will not be successful. We would like you to share memories of loved ones and places you shared on our specially designed postcards. These memories will become part of a performance piece as well as a memorial to those we miss dearly by being part of a national art project touring galleries in the region.
